Beatscale does not require or create a 77beats account, so there is no Beatscale account to close. This guide explains how to delete data stored by the App and how to request deletion of the anonymous record used to verify Premium purchases.
Delete data stored in Beatscale
Use the built-in deletion control before uninstalling if you want to remove data from the current device:
- Open Beatscale.
- Open Settings.
- Go to Privacy & Data.
- Select Delete all data.
- Read the confirmation and select Delete everything.
This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
What the in-app action deletes
- favorites and conversion history
- preferences, precision settings, theme choices, and onboarding status
- the locally stored crash-reporting choice and crash reports still waiting to be sent
- local records used by document and utility history
- PDFs and images kept in Beatscale's private storage so they can be reopened from History
After deletion, Beatscale returns to its first-use state on that device. Crash reporting returns to its first-use default of off. You can choose again during Welcome or later in Settings. Crash reports still waiting on the device are deleted.
What the in-app action does not delete
- original photos, images, or documents that you selected from outside Beatscale
- files you exported, saved, shared, or printed outside the App
- Beatscale backup
.zipfiles that you saved elsewhere - content that remains in the system clipboard or clipboard history
- copies held by another app, cloud service, printer, person, or sharing destination
- copies in an operating-system or device backup
- Google Play or Apple App Store transaction records
- the anonymous RevenueCat purchase and entitlement record
- crash and stability reports already uploaded to Google Firebase Crashlytics
- technical information already handled under Google, Apple, Cloudflare, Quad9, or another provider's retention policy
Deleting App data does not refund a purchase or remove Premium from the store account.
Uninstalling Beatscale
Uninstalling normally removes Beatscale's active private storage from that device. It does not remove exported files, saved backup archives, clipboard contents, data already sent to another destination, store transaction records, or copies retained in a device-level backup.
On Android, Beatscale disables automatic app-data backup. On Apple devices and other environments, backup behavior depends on your operating-system and backup settings. For the clearest result, use Delete all data before uninstalling.
Data handled by other providers
Beatscale cannot directly delete records controlled independently by another provider:
- Google Firebase Crashlytics receives technical crash and stability reports when automatic reporting is enabled or when you approve a saved report. Limited navigation breadcrumbs are added only while automatic reporting is enabled. Beatscale does not add Firebase Analytics or a custom Beatscale user ID. Google states that crash stack traces, processed crash data, and associated installation identifiers are kept for 90 days before removal begins. Turning crash reporting off, deleting local App data, or uninstalling removes reports still waiting on the device, but does not delete an already uploaded report. See Google's Privacy and Security in Firebase page and privacy controls.
- Google ML Kit may retain limited device, app, per-install, usage, performance, and error information. ML Kit does not receive Beatscale's input images or recognized text. See Google's Android ML Kit data disclosure, iOS ML Kit data disclosure, and privacy controls.
- Cloudflare, Google, or Quad9 may retain normal connection information when you choose that provider for a Network Health test. See Cloudflare's Public DNS privacy commitments, Cloudflare's Privacy Policy, Google Public DNS privacy information, the Google Privacy Policy, or the Quad9 Data and Privacy Policy.
- Google Play and Apple control their own store accounts, transaction records, and legally required purchase records. Use the provider's account and privacy controls for those records.
77beats does not receive or retain Network Health measurements and cannot identify or delete resolver logs on your behalf.
Delete a support conversation
If you previously contacted 77beats support and want the support message deleted, email [email protected] from the same address when possible. Use the subject Support Data Deletion Request and identify the conversation. We will delete information that we are not required to keep for security, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
Changes to this document
We may update this guide when Beatscale, its providers, or the deletion process change. The revised version will show a new "Last updated" date.
